Welcome to OhioSwapMeet.com - 2016 Show Dates: FEBRUARY-Feb 11 / SPRING-May 25-27 / FALL-Sept 7-9 / Winter-Nov 9-10 VCCA Show

NOTE:
We are running out of camping spaces! The Fairgrounds has been adding buildings, removing some campsites and reducing general parking spaces available for spectators. To avoid traffic jams we had to open more areas for parking, reducing camping area so we must now assign every camper to a specific site to conserve space, and space is very limited.

Size Limitations: 30' x 18' Camp Spaces
Those who cannot fit on these space limitations will have to reserve additional spaces. The campsites still available at the fairgrounds were built decades ago and were not designed to contain many of the extremely long and expanding recreational vehicles that currently are available these days. Newer recreational vehicles may not be able to fully utilize all of their expansive capabilities or canopies and are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to contact and reserve a campsite at the local campgrounds listed below in advance of the show. Those that arrive in the afternoon, during peak show hours, may find they cannot be placed on their site due to parking congestion and not having enough room to position your vehicle. If you have a large RV please try to arrive before 10:00 AM

SPRING 2021:
Campsites are assigned spaces only at $50.00 per night. Reserved campsites will be marked and no campers will be permitted to park on their own without being placed by one of our staff.

All vehicles must have the appropriate window sticker properly affixed and visible on the windshield to be admitted. Registration tent closes at 6:00 pm each day, for space purchase or pickup of window stickers.

Chase vehicles, if not able to fit on reserved campsite space, will either have to park in general parking or purchase an additional space. Aisles cannot be blocked according to Fairground requirements.

No camping permitted before Thursday (week of show) or Sunday night (after show) per fairground rules.

No cooking or waste water is permitted to be generated at campsites unless the units are self-contained.
(All sewage plugs must be in place and tight fitting.)

No open fires are permitted on the fairgrounds. Campsites should be cleaned daily and all garbage should be placed in plastic trash bags. The plastic bags must be securely tied and placed in a specially marked area nightly for refuse collection. Trash bags are provided at registration. Maintain a CLEAN campsite.

No pets are allowed on the fairgrounds at any time, unless the vendor or camper has obtained a special free permit at vendor registration. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and either confined inside a vehicle or otherwise out of reach of spectators. Pet owners must have liability insurance on the pets, and must assume all liability for the pet and its actions. This year the fairgrounds workers will not allow spectators to enter with pets, and so we must insist that vendors or campers with pets keep them out of sight.

Famous Auto Promotions is not responsible for any loss or damage to camping gear.No motorized vehicles (mopeds, motorbikes, etc. or antique bicycles) may be operated without a free special permit (available at the vendor tent). Permission will be granted only when medically or physically necessary and must be 16 or older.

No alcoholic beverages, fireworks, weapons, or illegal substances are permitted on the fairgrounds at any time.

Springfield Swap Meet & Car Show ends at 3:00 pm on Sunday. Everyone must be off the grounds by 8:00 pm or face additional charges. Sorry, there is no Sunday night camping allowed on the fairgrounds. These rules will be enforced by Sheriff's deputies on the fairgrounds.

NOTE: You must arrive by 6:00 pm or already have your sticker firmly attached to your windshield in order to be admitted. No stickers sold after 6:00 pm.

Sheriffs' deputies guarding the gates after 6:00 pm follow just one rule for after hours entrance to the fairgrounds: "NO STICKER, NO ADMISSION"!
